Percent of County Population Dead due to Covid-19

The map below demonstrates the percent of deaths due to Covid-19 per county, based upon each county's population.

By June 30, 2020, several clusters of U.S Counties had experienced a loss of over .1% of their population due to Covid-19. These areas include northeastern Arizona, northwestern New Mexico, southeastern New England, and a small band across Lousiana, Mississipi, Alabama and Georgia. Wyoming, Utah, Montana and Colorado appeared to be largely unaffected at this time.
